In recognition of our corporate responsibilities William Buck has long supported a number of charities, both on a state level and nationally. The support given by William Buck was formalised in 2005 with the establishment of a formal corporate social responsibility plan, the William Buck Community Program.
The William Buck Community Program ensures the firm is actively involved in the community. A substantial budget is dedicated each year for providing charitable donations and sponsorship funding for a wide variety of causes. Technical expertise is also provided through pro-bono work.
To ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the program, donations, pro-bono work, volunteer and fundraising activities must all be approved by the firm’s community committee which follows strict selection criteria

Committed to the Environment
William Buck recognises the role that large organisations play in shaping our environment and consciously tries to minimise any negative impact that our business may have.
Using the latest developments in IT, the firm has implemented an electronic document management system across all offices and, as far as possible, has become a ‘paperless’ office. Very few documents are printed and where practically possible, paper documents sent to the firm are scanned, electronically filed and then sent for recycling.
